Desiree's role is to oversee 1st Homecare operations and ensure that Service Managers and their teams are supported in delivering excellent care at home services throughout Scotland. She has extensive people-focused and operational experience including functional and transformational HR, finance management, customer service and an in-depth understanding of regulatory and governance for the Care Sector.
Desiree is a Chartered Member of the CIPD and hold a Postgraduate Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management. She is passionate about supporting others to achieve their full potential and in driving quality improvements that make a positive difference to the lives of the people we support.
Rosie is focused on delivering exemplar support and care that meet the needs of individuals whilst ensuring that teams follow best practice and adhere to the Scottish Social Services Council Codes of Practice and National Care Standards.
In her role Rosie works closely with 1st Homecare services to improve quality, health and safety, and compliance through service audits, inspections, improvement planning and strategy development. Rosie also supports 1st Homecare services in achieving operational excellence through effective resource planning and delivery, financial budgeting and delivering better outcomes for the people we support using improvement approaches based on person-centred thinking.
Kayleigh is responsible for the efficient running of the 1st Homecare Fife service. She has a strong background in the social care sector, with extensive experience of providing tailored support for adult care and older people’s services, and is working towards SVQ 4.
Working alongside and in partnership with multi-disciplinary teams and local authorities, Kayleigh and her team adopt a holistic approach to providing support that enables people to live as independently possible and that improves general wellbeing.
Julie is responsible for the effective service delivery of the well-established 1st Homecare Dumfries and Galloway service. She has over 10 years’ experience in the health and social care sector, supporting people with learning disabilities and older adults. Julie is SVQ 4 qualified and is working towards Dementia Champion certification.
Julie is passionate about driving quality care at home services that meet the needs of individuals and their families by ensuring that her team are supported to develop and grow, and deliver best practice as standard. Julie is focused on building the Dumfries and Galloway service to establish 1st Homecare as a leading care at home provider within the locality and the wider area.
Diane is responsible for the effective running of the 1st Homecare Falkirk service, to which she deputised for 4 years previously. Diane has been employed by the organisation for over 11 years, is SVQ 3 and SVQ 4 qualified and always strives to ensure the needs and requirements of people supported are met to a very high standard.
1st Homecare Falkirk supports both adults and children, including those with mental and physical disabilities. Meeting the needs and requirements of the people we support is paramount to allow them to remain as independent as possible and also to stay in their own home. Diane works closely with the local authority and other professional teams to ensure that satisfactory outcomes are achieved for all.
