Social Support

SOCIAL SUPPORT

Maintaining a strong social life and independence is crucially important.

We understand that some people require a little extra support to access their local community and maintain a routine that they enjoy. This may include tasks such as shopping, assistance with paying bills or banking, going to the cinema, going for a meal, walking, visiting places of interest or attending college.

1st Homecare is happy to help and support people to maintain independence in their day-to-day lives.

Meet and greet session

In order to establish an individual’s interests, preferences and support needs, we arrange a meet and greet session to get to know each other. Together we develop a tailored support plan that is centred on enabling people to have greater independence and control in their lives.

If you’d like an informal chat to find out more, simply get in touch with your local 1st Homecare Team.
